A theatre based class aimed at ambulant participants who have learning difficulties.
What to expect from sessions:
Do you care for or support a young person between the age of 8 and 17 who has learning difficulties/disabilities? Does the young person enjoy the theatre?
PossAbilities is a partially funded project in the Kirklees area and we are looking for young people who would like to be part of producing a play about discrimination related to their own experiences. The project looks at all elements of producing a play from learning how to write scripts, creating sets, casting roles and acting, once the play has been written by participants of the project.
We are currently gathering expressions of interest from potential participants for this exciting opportunity which brings disabilism to the attention of a wider audience. Participants will be required to engage and input into the project so help from parents/carers may be required.
