Bring on the Challenge

TCD -Tackling social isolation in the Community through Diverse activities.

We are dedicated to transforming lives and breaking down barriers for people with special needs, disabilities, mental health issues and the elderly through dance and exercise.

About Us

TCD was set up to support socially isolated individuals and groups and offer dance, fitness and wellbeing sessions in the local community. Projects include Luke’s Lads and  Butterflies (as well as junior sessions), which are single sex workout sessions that include a mental health and wellbeing chat, dance classes for the elderly including ballet and ballroom, dance classes for physical and learning disabilities and projects for those at risk of CSE (Child Sexual Exploitation).

In order to keep our sessions sustainable supporters and committee members take part in fundraising events throughout the year such as bag packing, family fun days and completing challenges such as the three peaks, Total Warrior, marathons and other sporting events.

Our Projects

TCD now have over 10 projects that have been set up to improve and support the lives of others

What is TCD?

The saddest people smile the brightest

Kind Words

Butterflies is a support group that is friendly, compassionate, non judgemental and above all, confidential and professional.

Butterflies

What a great name for a great aim!.... Keeping the joints 'oiled ', the grey cells 'primed', and the chuckle muscles well & truly 'employed'.

Twilight Tutus

The sessions have helped our son get stronger again and gain some of the confidence back we can now see that little spark coming back into his life. So keep doing what you're doing Lukes Lads. An amazing job
