Rachel Walmsley

Service Lead
Rachel Walmsley is Founder of TCD and Service Lead, bringing over 30 years’ experience supporting children, young people, adults, and families across West Yorkshire. She has extensive expertise in mental health, disability, and bereavement support, and is trained in Mental Health First Aid and ASIST. In addition to leading services at TCD, Rachel works as a Senior Postvention Practitioner with Leeds Mind’s Suicide Bereavement Service and as a Senior Practitioner with Leeds Mind’s Stepping Stones Service, supporting children, young people, adults, and families affected by mental health challenges and suicide. Her work focuses on creating inclusive, compassionate, and impactful support for those most in need.
Tayler Dunstan

Assistant Service Lead
Tayler provides vital support to the Service Lead, ensuring the effective coordination and smooth delivery of our services. Her responsibilities include assisting with service management, supporting project planning, maintaining clear communication across the team, and helping to monitor day-to-day operations. With strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, Tayler plays a key role in keeping services running efficiently and to a high standard. She is committed to ensuring that both staff and service users are well supported, and her reliability and professionalism make her an integral part of the team.
Donna Gomersall

Book Keeper
Donna is responsible for managing TCD’s finances and bookkeeping, ensuring all financial processes are accurate, transparent, and fully compliant. She oversees day-to-day transactions, prepares reports, and supports financial planning, providing the Trustees with clear information to make informed decisions.
With her strong attention to detail and commitment to good governance, Donna plays a key role in safeguarding the charity’s financial health and sustainability. Her expertise ensures that TCD can demonstrate accountability to funders, partners, and the community, allowing us to focus on delivering vital services with confidence.
Marc Turowski

I.T. Support
Marc provides essential IT support, ensuring that all of our systems and technology run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. With a strong background in technology and a natural problem-solving mindset, he is responsible for maintaining the organisation’s digital infrastructure, assisting staff with technical challenges, and implementing solutions that help improve day-to-day operations. Marc is passionate about making technology accessible and user-friendly, and his approachable manner makes him the go-to person for IT advice and support. His work ensures that the team can focus on delivering services with confidence, knowing the technical side is in safe hands.
Olivia Langford

Young People Advisor
Olivia is one of the dedicated youth advisors working with TCD, where she plays a pivotal role in representing and amplifying the voices of young people navigating mental health challenges. Her primary goal is to create and promote environments that are both supportive and empowering for all young individuals who seek help. Olivia’s personal journey with mental health has been transformative, guiding her to TCD—an organisation that has not only provided her with a sense of community but also equipped her with essential skills to manage her well-being. Through her experiences, she has witnessed first-hand the profound impact that compassionate support and accessible resources can have on young people's lives. With her position at TCD, Olivia is committed to advocating for the critical importance of mental health services and programs.
