Supporting Our Armed Forces Community

TCD Charity is proud to have officially signed the Armed Forces Covenant, reaffirming our deep commitment to supporting those who serve, have served, and their families.

By signing the Covenant, we pledge to uphold the key principles of fairness, respect, and opportunity for all members of the Armed Forces community. This commitment ensures that serving personnel, veterans, and their loved ones are treated with fairness and respect within our organisation and across the wider community.

For TCD, this commitment goes beyond a pledge—it reflects our dedication to creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued, supported, and connected. We recognise the unique challenges faced by those transitioning from military to civilian life and are committed to providing practical support, opportunities to improve wellbeing, and a strong sense of community.

Our Veterans United programme is at the heart of this commitment. Designed for male and female veterans, it provides a welcoming, peer-led environment where veterans can connect with others who understand their experiences, share stories, build friendships, and access support in a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental setting. Through Veterans United, we are helping to improve mental health and wellbeing while creating opportunities for personal growth, resilience, and lasting community connections.

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, TCD is strengthening its mission to make a lasting difference in people’s lives—honouring service, promoting understanding, and ensuring that veterans and their families know they will always have a place where they are valued, respected, and supported.
